The Sidekick from M2 Optics is most often used with an OTDR to eliminate "blind spots" at the beginning of a fiber cable. Commonly referred to as a launch box, pulse suppressor, or launch cable, this durable test box is also used as a fiber optic delay line and for a variety of other testing and training applications.
The OTDR Sidekick is offered with a variety of lengths from 100m-1km, as well as all common connector types to meet your exact requirements. Aside from the high quality that comes with all M2 products, these modules are very affordable, providing a great value to any engineer or technician.
