M2 Optics Inc, a leading Raleigh-based manufacturer of customized fiber optic solutions for advanced communications testing and networking applications has been nominated for a prestigious Manufacturing + Supply Chain Award in the category “Use Of Technology” which recognizes companies, organizations, institutions and/or collaborations for their use of technology from the North Carolina Technology Association. The NC Tech Awards program is North Carolina’s only statewide tech awards program dedicated to celebrating growth, innovation, impact and leadership.
For many years, M2 has successfully been developing and delivering solutions built to exact user specifications for a few highly-specialized fiber optic applications, based on the understanding and recognition that every communications engineering team has different needs. As a result of this personalized approach that maximizes value, their products are trusted and relied upon by many leading entities around the world in the Telecom, Data Center, Financial Trading, Defense, and University markets.
To support this continued strategic approach and continuing to evolve to meet the changing needs and challenges of their customers, M2 has been making significant investments into additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology over the last few years. The NC Technology Association is the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina. Finalists were selected after a nomination period earlier this year, and the winners will be selected in a two-stage review process.
