Used for correcting dispersion effects created by fibers over long distance, the rack mount Fiber Lab Model DCF (Dispersion Compensating Fiber) device is suitable for use in field deployments and development labs. It can be customized for dispersion and dispersion slope of SMF-28e, LEAF, AllWave, and TrueWave fibers in C band. Capable of enhancing analog and digital (BER) performance, device can be supplied with SC or FC (APC/UPC) connectors.
