Dispersion compensating fiber from M2 Optics is used for correcting dispersion effects created over distances within optical fibers.  These specialty fibers are offered in a variety of housings, making them ideal for most dispersion fiber testing and research requirements.

DC fiber is available for dispersion and dispersion slope of G.652 and G.655 fibers, in both C-band and L-band. We welcome inquiries for custom solutions with other fiber types or dispersion requirements (positive, flat-slope, etc).
